An update on the coronovirus vaccine and the recent surge in vaccine deaths.

(Published Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2018)The National Institutes of Health announced Monday that the coronivirus vaccine was safe to use for adults and children aged 6 months and younger in a new phase of testing.

The announcement came after the agency found more than 500 vaccine-related deaths nationwide since the beginning of the year.

The CDC and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said the coronvirus vaccine should be used in children aged 12 months and older for the first time, starting in December, to minimize the risk of side effects.
